USA Today recently included a story about the increased utilization of human milk banks. At WakeMed, we are proud to have one of only eleven not-for-profit milk banks in the United States, and we too have experienced an increased demand for milk. In fact, we have had to limit our milk distribution only to hospitals for use by critically ill infants.
